Until then, if the autobeat grid in traktor does not hit the spot (very rarely that occurs), you can also nudge it into position manually within ca. Yeah of course, the serato / ableton partnership hopefully brings something WOAHHHUUUU. This is necessary so that Rekordbox can lay out the beat grid appropriately. Have a read of our Serato DJ or Rekordbox DJ article to learn more. I guess fairly soon Serato might be the obvious choice for a live user - I just hope that whatever version of serato ends up pairing with Live - its as good as tracktor for control and sync etc - historically I have never been a fan of serato at all - allways seemed a bit primitive in many compared to tracktor. (and manually it is a hell lot easier and faster, too) basically you can still auto~beat~match any track, just drop the track and the analysing and autogrid takes 3-6 seconds depending on the length of the track. With the small difference that it is a hell lot faster and more precise, and that the autogrid functions actually work. If you are dependent upon tracktor doing perfect matching for you - ie you cant beat match yourself on the fly, then you are still going to have to do manual beat grid alignment (a bit like warping).
